Marking a major milestone, Bhartaul village in the Bareilly district is the first in the state to have RO water in every home.

This development is a part of the Adarsh Gram Panchayat initiative, which was announced on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan.

Bhartaul Village In Bareilly Becomes First To Have RO Water In Every House

In the Bhartaul village, four RO plants have been built with the goal of providing clean drinking water to all.

The authorities intend to establish more ROs in the near future. village head Pravesh Kumari has confirmed this news and also stated that the village is complete with all the facilities.

On the 11th of October, 2014, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi launched the Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY) at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. 

The main objectives of SAGY, as listed on the website, are:

RO Water Plant Will Prevent Water Borne Diseases in Bhartaul

According to Jag Pravesh, Chief Development Officer of Bareilly, the move will protect people from water-borne diseases.

He stated that the village is already part of the ‘Adarsh Gram Panchayat.’ Four RO plants have been installed to ensure that everyone has access to clean water. More plants will be planted. It will protect people from water-borne illnesses.

The goal was to create three Adarsh Grams by March 2019, with one completed by 2016. 

Following that, five such Adarsh Grams (one per year) will be chosen and developed by 2024. Inspired by Mahatma Gandhi’s principles and values, the Scheme emphasises national pride, patriotism, community spirit, self-confidence, and infrastructure development. 

As per the official website, SAGY will preserve rural India’s soul while providing its people with quality access to basic amenities and opportunities to shape their own destiny.
